Gateway Early Years Practitioner – Temporary role

Temporary contract starting 6^th January 2025 to  18th July 2025 

We have a Vacancy at our Gateway Grange Setting for an Early Years Practitioner.  

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner who will work as a key person and as part of the pre-school team under the direction of the manager. To provide safe, high quality education and care for young children which meets the individual needs of children attending the setting. 

Please note this is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. 

Qualifications: Level 2 or above in Early Years. 

Desirable Criteria: Child Protection, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety 

Skills:   

• Ability to work on own initiative 

• Passion for delivering quality provision in the Early Years 

• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage 

• Team Player  

• Experience in a Childcare setting 

Hours:  18.5 hours per week term time only

Monday        9.00am to 3.00pm( inc 30 min break)

Wednesday 12.00pm to 3.30pm

Thursday      11.00am to 3.30pm

Friday           9.00am to 2.00pm

Bank Staff Temporary role  – Gateway Early Years Practitioner

Temporary contract starting 6^th January 2025 to  18th July 2025 

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Bank Staff Team to be able to work flexibly throughout the 4 Gateway Pre-School settings as and when required.

 Please note this is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. 

Hours: Between 16 and 20 hours term time only

(between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm)

Qualifications: Level 2 or above in Early Years

Desirable Criteria: Child Protection, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety

Skills:

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Passion for delivering quality provision in the Early Years
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
